Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance operations at Stonehaven At Main Street. This role is responsible for ensuring the property remains safe, functional, and well‑maintained through timely repairs, preventative maintenance, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential units and common areas
• Complete work orders efficiently and accurately
• Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance issues
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to reduce future repairs
• Assist with unit turnovers, including painting, cleaning, and minor renovations
• Maintain property grounds, including trash removal and light landscaping
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed
• Communicate professionally with residents, staff, and vendors
• Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of general maintenance experience (property management preferred)
• Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service

Preferred Skills

• HVAC certification
• Experience with apartment turnovers
• Knowledge of Florida building codes
